Originally published on the Times of Israel on 12/12/2015 To cut it short: I work for Artists 4 Israel, or rather work with them. But it’s not why I write about them. I write because they are on a mission, and I can’t be there. I write because what they do needs to be acknowledged. […]
Hi, my name is Virag and I'm the founder of Almost Jewish, a pro-Israel movement that aims to change stereotypes and turn hate into love by bringing a new angle by a Christian to the story of Israel and the Jewish people.
As a Christian Hungarian sharing my life with a charming Israeli, I embarked on (an often painful) journey towards Israel advocacy. By chance (or not) today I work with a handful of pro-Israel organizations as a digital communications strategist and personal branding coach and I write raw-honest personal narratives about my internal identity dilemmas a Christian Israel advocate, the struggles I face in advocacy work and many more.
Hope you will join the movement and together we make sure that people know about the real Israel.
